Never heard of Zoice ill have to check it out, I dont think id have any use for it but still interesting. I used to use Crazy Talk if remember that but was a VERY long time ago. Ill check out Palmier too.

Has anyone here ever had a video go viral? I have had a few in total. The most views I have ever had on a video was 18.7 million but never had anywhere close since and I think coming in second was about 8 million. What about you? I dont think I will EVER get that again lol.

For your videos what microphone(s) do you use? I mainly use either the Zoom h5 recorder or Rode NT1s at the moment. I also have a park of Hollyland mics which are great for mobile sound.

So as an update I got the mic back and tested it and it still sounds the same, I am tempted to keep it but can send it back and have 9 days to decide really unsure right now.

It can wear you down but I do believe that with persistence we can get somewhere whether that means making a new channel, laser focusing on content, working on new projects etc we can all go places.

I have never heard the original surprisingly but love this man I can see the effort you put into your music doing each part must take quite a lot mentally I know I couldnt do it and manage to put it all together. Sounds great and loving the solo.

I can get that man. I used to do requests all the time for random things and I feel it made me go off the actual main focus of the channel. The videos always done poorly too. There has been 1 recently that performed well though but it was a really good match for what I do already and wasnt too far out there.

I get my Rode NT1 5th Generation back today from the UK repair service, they have had it just over a week and fingers crossed it works. There was a muffled noise coming from inside when handled and tapped which a same mic didnt do. They said the housing was slightly deformed and replaced a capacitor as a precaution. Really hoping it works or I will return them to Amazon which I dont want to do as they do sound amazing otherwise. Has anyone else ever had noise issues with microphones like muffled sounds or rattling inside thats hard to find? I had this a LONG time ago with some cheap condensers too just wouldnt expect the same from Rode of all brands at the pricepoint too.

I was curious what you guys use for AI and your content creation? I mainly use ChatGPT (free version now since they put the price up), Google Gemini and Claude sometimes. For me ChatGPT does most that I want with the free version, I do miss the paid version for less limits and being able to upload but I just cant warrant the extra expense now its gone up. When I run out etc I just switch to Gemini and use multiple Gmail accounts for deep research when needed but I do still hit limits there as well.

Is it worth taking on subscriber requests or sticking to your content strategy plan? In the past I have done a lot of suggested videos and more often than not they have flopped, what are your thoughts on this? I feel like its best to stick to our plans and goals and not deviate as much as it seems to not often perform well.

So I was wondering what everyones worst performing videos are? For me on the new channel it has to be the introductory first video where I chat about the new channel, it isnt bad but SEO wise probably as was focused on introductions. On my old channel it was a subscriber request that I done. What about you?

I think it can help man, many people say it doesnt matter but I see no issue starting fresh. I have 65k on the old channel and getting less views than my new one when I post. I feel like the channel has a dead audience, nothing I post "stimulates" it again. Always lower end of views and completely demoralising.

It is so self limiting and frustrating. The last one I done when I posted this has 1.7k views since Friday on a 2 week old channel man and quite a few people saying they loved it. Think we are often so self critical judging ourselves for everything for me its how I look and if the content is good but actual video quality/sound etc I never worry about.

Heads up for people not familiar with streaming, you can use obs to duel stream youtube live on vertical at the same time as horizontal, the built in option in live studio sucks as it doesn't give proper algorithm reach. There's tutorial online to set it up and you use 2 stream keys at the same time, its a small hastle but you will get used to it.

Symph This may be useful for you if youre going to be going live on YouTube not sure if similar on Twitch etc though. Sounds very good for getting YouTube to push your streams. Didnt realise the different formats would have different reach when live. Thanks for sharing this.

What are your thoughts on GTA 6 giving birth to new YouTube channels? I honestly reckon that when it comes out theres going to be someone who thinks lets go for it and starts recording for the first time and ends up getting millions of views and reaching Markiplier levels.

I love when new games come out and people make content around them and then they go viral, like look at old school gamers, DanTDM and StampyLongNose with Minecraft, Markiplier with Outlast (maybe bit unsure). New games can sometimes create MASSIVE opportunities for gaming creators, especially when a creator gets in early and builds an audience around a game that everyone is searching for which will be GTA VI when it is out.

All it can take is someone thinking lets do this, getting a new game, creating a channel and going for their dreams of being a gaming content creator.

This is something I have sometimes struggled with. I will make a good video, become excited and feel like it HAS to be out right away. I recommend not falling into this trap. Always no matter how tempting, ALWAYS post your videos when your potential or active audience is online the most, for a new channel the first few videos it doesnt matter but once you start getting subscribers I recommend being patient and releasing them when they are likely to be online.

I have saw in the past releasing videos that flop when posted during the day on larger channels across many niches. It is as if YouTube doesnt get the best signals from those watching during the day say working and school hours, maybe they abandon more or something but almost every video I have ever released during UK work time has performed terribly. Looking at your YouTube analytics and understanding when your viewers are online can be a huge part of improving video performance and growing a channel and making sure each video gets the chance in life it deserves 😊

Has anyone else experienced this too? I feel like it is a trap, we become excited and release our creations early to see them fall flat.

I have saw quite a lot of GaryVees videos lately and he sure makes sense. My old channel with 65k subscribers has been pretty much dead. I have made a new channel and its doing VERY well in comparison. It is being put infront of new viewers and theyre actually watching, my audience retention is through the roof in comparison, what do you think? Definitely recommend following him in general for good reminders that we CAN do stuff regardless of the limitations we place on ourselves.
