You know over the years I have never really followed vlog style channels but this is one I have watched a lot of. I think her videos showing life in Japan so interesting, theres always something visual going on which stimulates the mind and makes you want to watch more. I love even seeing videos of what shes bought over there as the products look quite different. I recently learned about a kotatsu table, seems so different, I kind of want to make one now for winter but lack of room.

What vloggers do you watch? I also sometimes watch RiskyRegg and Mashtagbrady. I like their energy even if I dont always agree with what they say etc

How do you feel about vlogging in public? Say right now you had to walk around a shop recording yourself or walking down the street. How would you feel about it? For me in my local area I would dread it and simply not do it. It is silly as I shouldnt care what others think. I think I would worry as I wouldnt want people asking me what I am doing or becoming annoyed theyre in the background or something like that. If I was in another city I dont think that I would mind as much.

What are your thoughts? How would you feel if you were to do it right now or would you just completely avoid it?

Yeah haha so your CTR is click through rate which is the percent of impressions (people who see the thumbnail) actually went on to click onto the video. Like you may have a 10% CTR means 1 in 10 click through to it.

It does seem very low at first but it can change over time.

Do you guys ensure you maximise each piece of video content by uploading to other platforms too? Which platforms do you utilise? I tend to make videos for YouTube and upload them to Spotify Creators too since its so accessible now. So glad we dont need to mess on with distributors as much now.

I dont have much time but listened to first minute and the pacing is a lot better than the first one, its easier to digest than before. The footage being dimmed is a lot better too. I am unsure if the thumb will be best with the character there but not appearing in the video. It looks like it will do well within your niche.

What is a priority for YOU and YOUR channel today? My life coach recommended me asking myself a version of this every day when I wake up. Tweaking it to be for our channels could be useful. When you wake up ask yourself these questions and think about what will get you to your future goal or what will be the next smaller step today.

For me today I have decided to release a video early for my main channel and another for my project channel. I decided this in the morning to record and make sure ones done. I really want to test its performance posting 1 extra video this week. I really hope it does well and not flop. Kinda dreading that.

This probably sounds like something obvious but I am curious if you practice before you record or do you only do your thing whilst the camera is recording? I really want to perfect my on camera skills and I think practice without being recorded will help me more. I want to make a promise to myself to practice more and make videos I will never upload so I become the best I can be.

Whats your thoughts on this? Do you ever record videos purely for practice that you have no intention of uploading and do you think practicing off camera helps you become more natural and confident when recording for real?

When your channels new its good to experiment and see what draws in views and keeps people watching, just see it as freeing as you can freely make what you want right now and play around

Crabby is just part of the Symph cycle lol I hope you feel better and more yourself soon though, not sleeping is awful and especially when the only thing helping affects your mood. You will bounce back though.

I am sure theres places or an app for creators to get collabs with similar channels but even then you need to find people who are a good match, similar to dating really.

When using copilot for titles it could be good to ask for a list of seo optimised and ordered by most relevant and highest searched comma delimited tags for each video. Your titles so far seem good man.

Im not the best at clickbaity titles and thumbnails I have done silly ones etc to just find them to not perform as well. All you can do is keep in mind what a potential viewer may click on and be attracted to. With gaming obviously seeing the game like a cool point in the gameplay with your face too will be best and with text optionally. Is there maybe a highlight point in game usually you could use each time?

Id say here but we dont have a large memberbase yet. I know theres a lot of collab services out there but unsure if any have creator to creator features, they all look like creator and business.

I only just discovered this today after collaborating with another channel. YouTube allows us to add collaborators and send and accept invites as one which displays the collab video on both or more creators channels, how cool is that! It means you can do a collab for their channel and they still receive some promotion from your own subscribers to their channel and video without needing to make as much effort in promoting with the added benefit that as a one way collab still are benefitting still instead of it seeming one sided. Really love this. Anyone else tried it? What do you make of it? Did the collaboration and the feature actually bring you new subscribers/views?

Your haters back then were probably jealous, you were doing quite well and many werent back then. I never understand hating on someones videos even if you dont like the person or enjoy them. To sit enraged at the screen etc is very reactive unless it really personally offends/affects you or others you care about etc. The only time I get annoyed is when someones trolling as I dont want to deal with it lol

Lmao no complaints its the click through rate vs impressions lol says 1500 and only 26 views from that seems very small but not sure if its normal with a new channel. Think they may have served it to the wrong audience maybe or the video sucks haha post your new one up if want and I can do a full review

The impressions CTR seem really low, the impressions said 1.5k as well so its been shown to 1.5k but 1.5% clicked through sounds ridiculously low. The thumbnail really stands out well too. I am curious whats caused this, the 26 views seems good and AVD is okayish as the video is about 15 mins but I am unsure what to make of these early stats.

Is 1.5% CTR low for a new channel and could it be that YT is sharing the video to a completely irrelevant audience so its low to begin with? I am curious what to expect. Is this normal? If this was your new channel would you tweak anything or leave it be? Title tags and desc seem fine and target to right people too.
