That's what Eklipse.gg claims it does, but I haven't been able to see any of my clips cause when I try to it wants me to pay for premium. Copilot keeps insisting that there's a way for me to get the clips without paying but I think the dang thing is hallucinating lol

I scheduled my first tiktok today and it performed about as well as expected. Well now that I look at it, it got 3 likes at 260 views, and my other videos of the same quality had between 8 and 10 likes, so the likes do indeed seem a bit lower but I can't imagine that would be because of scheduling it. I really need to schedule with the amount of stuff I'm trying to do right now but I suppose if I notice a trend I may try to upload at the right times manually.

I'm trying to find something that will auto caption all my videos and analyze to find where all the exciting bits are and cut out the rest, if I could have an already "almost done" video when I upload it into capcut it would be amazing, unfortunately the game I'm trying to make a series of right now is Fallout New Vegas and the site I wanted to use called Eklipse does not recognize that game. I also can't stream the game as it's crashed every time I've tried. I do consult with copilot about tags, upload times, titles etc... though that's becoming less necessary as I get a feel for what kinds of things it thinks work and what it doesn't.

I shoot too straight to be trolling like that haha but honestly if I wanted to step into some serious controversy, all I'd have to do is give my honest opinions on some real topics and believe me, I'd get it!

Yes! Overwhelmed is definitely what I'm feeling, I really think I need to stick to this gaming/reaction thing until I get somewhere, and I may need to drop instagram, it doesn't respond to the gaming content very well but tiktok does and I just don't have a song to play every day on IG. I could get there though.

You know its funny because I thought of myself as the flakiest youtuber in the world and believed I was the only one who kept making schedules and not following through and over diversifying my content, so I disappeared for 10 years and got myself mentally and physically together, came back and started really looking at my friends and other youtubers and suddenly realized "wait... almost everyone is like that to some degree or another. You're telling me I was just NORMAL???!!!" lol But I think my vision for what I gotta do is starting to become clear, I'm definitely just gonna ditch the old channel. I hate that but it is what it is, the gaming content is getting zero traction and they're good highlight reels. I think by next week I should be able to be on some kind of schedule. And yes, Adhd is bitch lol

I was trying to do my first reaction video, was gonna be "reactionception" where I react to people's reactions of music I love. Usually these videos are young kids who don't know anything about the music, and I wanted to chime in as the elder millennial who's loved it since my teenage years and give my takes. I sat there and recorded the whole thing, with lots of mess ups, and lots of technical issues, I kept trying to switch cameras and it kept jumping around in the video, so I was doing all kinds of stupid stuff thinking I was alone. I get done and think "yeah there's probably enough footage in there let's see it!" And when I look at obs, we're not recording, we're freaking streaming LMAO. I actually had 3 people watching too LOL I swear, every time I try to do something like this something goes wrong!! WHY IS MY LIFE LIKE THIS!!! Oh well, guess I'll try again tomorrow...

And I am going through a bit of a crisis myself. I came back to my old channel, and tried to revive it, views have basically been total garbage except one music video that got over 50 views. I went ahead and created a new channel with a new banner I spent a whole day making, and I said I was gonna post to both channels and see which one does better right? But now that I'm about to actually do this, I'm realizing that's not an option. My tiktoks are picking up steam and I want them to lead back to a channel, I can't very well tell people to find me at two channels now can I?

So I actually probably should just bite the bullet and start over on the new channel, but I JUST TOLD MY OLD SUBSCRIBERS THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE HAPPENING ON SYMPHONIOUS7! So that means I'm once AGAIN gonna have to retcon something I JUST said, and all the flakey changing shit up is part of why I left youtube in the first place lmaoooo Ughhh.... but honestly I don't think a music and comedy channel can just pivot to a gaming/music channel so easily. And I should probably just do it. I hope some of the old subs follow me though, there were some good people watching my channel! And Th3StuffShow was one of em! I wish I could go back to when all the haters started showing up to my channel years ago. At the time it made me get too anxious to post, but had I been able to ride the wave it would have probably been the true point my channel took off. Those people were following me around and giving me engagement on everything and all I had to do was respond something like "Thanks! So glad you stopped by!" And it would make them even more furious and they'd be like "Keep pretending I like your videos all you want but --- --- -- !!!" In a way haters can be your best gift, just find the right way to rile them up while still looking cooler than them to any rational person and you've got an endless farm of engagement lol. TAKE ME BACK YOUTUBE GODS! TAKE ME BACK!

My vision on this is getting clearer and clearer, I could do 1 to 2 music videos per month, then shoot for maybe 4/5 gaming uploads a week, and make background music for the game uploads, (unless the game music is loud or important) Then at the beginning of each video do a 30 second intro of me talking to the camera where I just say "Welcome to my ---- series! All the music you hear was made by me and played by hand, ---- gotta a little crazy in this one, hope you watch till the end, let's get into it!" To give it that personal touch at the start. Then at the end of each video I either turn up the background music with a reminder to check out my music uploads, or I switch to whatever song I recently released, making every new game release a promotion for the music. ITS GENIUS I TELL YOU.

Tiktok's bumming me out tonight, I got so excited when I realized old jazz songs I love were on it and I thought "I could do vibe content and just get lost in pharoah sanders music or lip sync bowie or something" so I made a little 15 second video of me listening to a jazz song I love with the words "Love is Here" on it, to me it was genuine, vulnerable, heartfelt and real. I was really hoping it would get some attention but it would appear to be my worst performing video yet. So far my worst performers are when I actually try to be vulnerable and heartfelt, so my acoustic love songs? Nope, sharing a jazz cut that touches my soul? Nope. Highest performing videos? Game stream snippets where I say stupid stuff, and a fail video where I pointed out that my TV swivels but I didn't realize it.

I think that's why people don't start, because putting yourself out there and finding out nobody cares is a harrowing experience, but if you don't try you can always believe "well if I DID try people would like it". Once you do and find out your wrong you're stuck with that reality. But whatever, video game content it is lmao

Yeah I'm abandoning this idea for now. Both copilot and chat gpt insist that consistent quality content, while being active and social on youtube can revive a dead channel, so I'm gonna give it at least a month, probably gaming content all week and then a music video once a week if I can manage it. We'll see how it goes all I can do right now is experiment, but I'm trying to start commenting on videos again. I'd kind of forgotten but when I was first growing my channel I did that A LOT.

Yep, and now I"m having to do the same with gaming content. Went live today for 2 and half hours, it's harder than I expected and it took me 3 hours to edit the video down and I STILL think it has too many boring bits. I officially closed down Imsymph and did everything I could to make that clear on the channel, and now gaming and music and comedy are all going on symphonious7. I'm quite nervous about this, but I'm hoping that if everything is punchy, weird, funny, or vibey, it will still feel enough like me that most people will want to see it, and those that only want one type of content won't mind just ignoring the video types they don't like. Either way, a New Vegas video goes up at 9am!

Yeah that's why I think I'll just take a "feel free to give me requests AND IF I LIKE THE IDEA I'll do them" approach.

It's not actually hard for me to, what's hard is resisting the urge to fix or go for perfection. There's a lot of mistakes in these performances and I don't want them there, but if I were to do enough takes to get them out or take the time to punch them in, I'd spend twice as long making them and I think I'm better off just churning and burning. So if it's basically right? I just go "F it, it's going up like that" lol I do like the challenge though, can I get the next one a little tighter? etc

That's why I think my plan to just shift to gaming content is a solid one, it's repeatable, it's low effort high output, you can gain a following, and who cares if one video does better or worse than the last one, you're literally just filming them all day you know? Obviously I'll still do music and the end goal is a group of people who WANT to hear it, but that way I can build a following first and then show them my true talent.

I tried doing it and it's a real headache. Seems like the only way to do it is to create a new gmail and I really wasn't trying to do that. Every time I try to do it with the old one it just redirects me back to an existing account.

I forgot how powerful it is to just comment on the social media platforms you're trying to make it on. I've been hardly getting any attention on tiktok, but the other night I spent like 30 minutes just commenting on some stuff, one of those comments blew up and got over 1000 likes, I got some comments to my comments, replied to one, and that person followed me. That's one follower gained from 30 minutes commenting and just responding to people. Imagine if I made a habit of doing it a few hours a day, I can only speak for myself but I sure haven't really been thinking about that, just focused on my content and tags and stuff. Geez it's almost like the key to this social media is being well... SOCIAL. Who'd a thunk? 🫠😀
