I've been thinking about this today myself. I metalified an Elton John song and copilot said I should put in the description "What song should I metalify next?" And I just did it, but then I thought about it and I was like "I don't wanna become the guy who turns any request into a metal song. I did it with the Elton John one cause I could hear in my head how it would work, it was a natural idea, if people start saying "make this metal! Make that metal!" I'm not sure I'd have an idea for just any song that wasn't kinda contrived or boring, and I don't wanna get stuck in that lane. But at the same time, maybe that's the kind of challenge I need or something.

I think it makes more sense for me to just say "if you have a cover you'd like me to do tell me and if I get an idea I'll do it" That feels a lot better.

I punk/metalified an old Elton John Song, I think it turned out great. Pleeease give it some attention and I'll love you forever!!!

Well I asked ai and it said that it's fine to post the same vids to two channels, there's no rule against it, so there's nothing to stop me from just dual posting and seeing how each channel does. I will be really sad if I need to abandon symphonious7, I'm attached to the name and attached to the history, but I can't keep getting 10 views per video on these songs, they take way too much effort so whatever I gotta do I'll do it.

I second what she said, and I also think it's just going to cause people to stop putting as much of themselves into what they do. Being forced to think of a script for example is not always fun, and people can go long periods of time with writers block, but all throughout history it's the pushing through that or waiting till the epiphany hits that causes the great books and movies to be made. I feel like that will rarely happen anymore, people get writer's block? "Hey ai help me come up with ----" And slowly everything gets more generic, less human, more boring.

My HOPE, is that this will create a void, where those of us who CAN still use our brains stand out more. Hey! Like that movie, Idiocracy lmao

Here's the finished version, PLEASE give it some love I worked so hard on it.

Yeah I'm really feeling like I need to get into the hooky short form content game I'm just not sure what to do. When I sing I sometimes make crazy faces and do all kinds of weird stuff I wonder if a few seconds of some of those takes could be good or even guitar clips or something. I'm still not sure if I should let all the weird hang out or try to present a more approachable image.

I might come back to this at some point, I literally almost had a nervous breakdown yesterday trying to figure out obs with copilot. I had the audio from my mic working but it couldn't hear the video game, copilot KEPT HALLUCINATING, it kept thinking I had versions of things I didn't, thinking settings had options they didn't, at one point it even forgot we were talking about live streaming and thought we were talking about music production but it was like mixing the two terminologies so it's saying "open up your DAW and then find --- in obs" LOL Point is, with all that, I'm just going to stream to kick for a while lol. Mayve once that is second nature and I'm used to it, I'll come back to this and we can add a dual stream.

I'm trying to take myself seriously as a musician this time around. When I used to post music videos I always felt like they were no big deal and not worth hyping, I still do feel that way a bit, but I'm breaking out of it, so I've actually been hyping up the creation of this song I've already finished. As the title says it's a cover of The Beatles song Dig It, with backing vocals and organ and stuff, filmed myself playing all the parts and put it together into a video. I'd love it if anyone who finds this would go give my instagram or tiktok a look. This is an IG where I share a snippet of the song Instagram And this is the tiktok of the same video (1)I’m hooked on Dig it by The Beatles right now so I started recording a... | TikTok

I started to post a few others cause they're all so short, but the rules said one video a day so I'm guessing that applies to tiktoks and IG's too. Soon I'll be uploading the footage of me playing the individual instruments, and on the 18th I'll release the full song in snippets on social media but fully on youtube. Thanks for listening.

No I genuinely have no business giving tips as I've never had any true success but I will say that I've always gotten the feeling it was my inability to stick with anything that stopped me. When I DID actually consistently stick to one thing like high quality music videos for a whole month or something, I saw growth. I tend to get bored though or even like... get this panicky "I can't keep this up!" Feeling, then I pivot to something else and growth stops. So I totally do believe the internet rewards consistency, and consistency has always been difficult for me in the past.

I don't trust myself. Even when I have the ability to think about what I'm gonna type I still say impulsive shit I regret. There's a culture war going on, all it takes is one stupid comment and I could want to go back to my hidey hole. Yes I am aware this is cowardly, but like I said, in our pm's, I'm always a little nauseus so I don't feel like I can ever just focus on what's going on. I just know I'll say something that people will clip and take out of context etc, and if it brings attention to me, positive OR negative, I don't feel equipped to deal with it. YET. But like I also said, I am healing myself more every day and these fears will disappear soon enough.
