Im thinking about starting a new channel that will be for Shorts only. Is it realistic to build a Shorts channel and get monetised now or is it difficult to consistently hit the current YPP threshold? From what I understand you need 1,000 subscribers and 10 million qualified Shorts views within 90 days for full Shorts monetisation but its going to change next year to the new threshold. How difficult is it to maintain that level of views? Id be interested to hear from anyone currently running a Shorts only channel and how you have found it?

It was 30 degrees here in Glasgow on Friday and I really wish I had got an AC unit when they were on sale. I would probably just avoid recording on really hot days and wait until it cools down a bit. I am absolutely rubbish with the heat.

Im about to start a YouTube channel focused on Shorts and aiming for a global audience. For those who have grown a Shorts channel, what actually helped your videos take off? Is it mainly the hook and watch time? I know there is no magic formula to grow instant but I would be interested to hear what has actually worked for you.
Cheers!
