I Was Killing My Own Videos Without Realising It

  • This is something I have sometimes struggled with. I will make a good video, become excited and feel like it HAS to be out right away. I recommend not falling into this trap. Always no matter how tempting, ALWAYS post your videos when your potential or active audience is online the most, for a new channel the first few videos it doesnt matter but once you start getting subscribers I recommend being patient and releasing them when they are likely to be online.

I have saw in the past releasing videos that flop when posted during the day on larger channels across many niches. It is as if YouTube doesnt get the best signals from those watching during the day say working and school hours, maybe they abandon more or something but almost every video I have ever released during UK work time has performed terribly. Looking at your YouTube analytics and understanding when your viewers are online can be a huge part of improving video performance and growing a channel and making sure each video gets the chance in life it deserves 😊

Has anyone else experienced this too? I feel like it is a trap, we become excited and release our creations early to see them fall flat.
