I used to do lives a lot on TikTok never on YouTube other than using a loop with Steamlabs. Back when I was doing TikTok lives my typical structure was like this below but over time I did feel like I was doing the same things on repeat and eventually kinda burnt out.
Start>
Welcoming people, chatting a bit and a warm up to get into the flow of things. This part would start fairly slow but I would have a lot of energy at the start but not fully be into the stream right away.
Middle>
Doing the main "performance" this is where I would slowly lose energy for performing during the stream but I would have steady viewership. It would tend to plateau during the middle and lose some viewers.
Ending>
Towards the end I would do the same thing every single time to give people something during the livestream to wait for, like keeping the best part of the meal until last. I would also disappear abruptly at the end so no one know exactly when I would disappear which I would do intentionally to leave viewers wanting more from me.
Do you stick to a strict structure or do you change yours up a lot to avoid burn out? What do you do keep your energy up during the middle?
