Im curious I know TikTok pushed over 1 minute long videos a while back and many people always aim for over 1 minute still (I believe to do with monetisation) but do they actually perform better view wise? In my experience very short videos around 15 to 30 seconds seem to do exceptionally well. Ones around a minute do perform fine too but when 3 mins etc I feel like they massively underperform. What is your own experience with this?

Ive been using Adobe Express for a while now at work and I find it so useful for thumbnail creation. You can take a thumbnail of yourself even with a black background and the Ai background remover does so well at removing you from it. I have tried many styles of photos and it almost always works well. Ill share some examples in this thread. To be honest this is the only tool I pay for Adobe Express for. I don’t use the rest. I know so many struggle using Photoshop with the pen tool and this makes life so much easier, it is a shame it isnt fully free and only allows a few goes before locking you out. It is worth it if using daily though.
if you havent used it before - https://www.adobe.com/express/featur…move-background

I have a few YouTube channels and the largest one often feels like the hardest one to grow. My views have been fairly stagnant for a while now. With my newer channel that I only post on sporadically the videos often outperform my larger channel, this is a 20 subscriber channel outperforming a 60k subscriber channel. I am posting shorts which seem to get picked up very fast. What is your experiences with this? I sometimes feel like starting again as if my larger channel is unrecoverable.

I hear on so many viral videos from content creation gurus that posting many times per day helps grow your TikTok. What is your own experience with this? With my larger established TikTok channel I found posting less is often more. I tend to post once every week or so and my views are not low per video and seems to perform better than when I post multiple per week. I used to trial posting 5 per day but all the videos seemed to stick around the lower end of views with one usually the last one performing better than the rest.
What are your experiences with this?

I've noticed that when I upload a TikTok video and add their audio from the library marked for commercial use that often times once it has gone through processing that the music ends up removed and all I am left with is a voice over and no music which completely ruins the feel of the video. Has anyone else experienced this or know of a fix? I tend to press on delete and re-edit but thats a bit of a pain and often doesnt work. I used to also go and trim a split second off the end of the video and repost in hope it would see the video as new or something and the music become fixed.
It's so strange as today and yesterday it has been perfectly fine. I am wondering if its specific tracks or something to do with how they adjust volume levels automatically.
Any ideas?

I’m really curious about this with building WeMakeVids.com I have been thinking about the term Content Creator and its connotations in 2026. We see the term all over now on TikTok, YouTube and all the other platforms where people create content.
Do you think its safe to use in general now when describing what you do (make video content for platforms) or does it sound related to the adult industry and OnlyFans etc? Have you personally had any experiences of people being confused with you using it yourself and had to explain about it? Has the term changed how you decide to brand your channel for example would you write Content Creator on your social profiles or avoid it? I am curious to learn what you think about this.
I know that I personally avoid using it still if I was to write about what I do, I would prefer to describe myself as a video creator, YouTuber, TikTokker etc
