Symph, Its not an easy thing to figure out at times. My TikTok is a bit political and full of my views on life and opinions mixed in with puppet skits, my youtube is stagnant and I barely use it now, but have a few gaming vids on there, but its not what my original followers where there for, and then on twitch i have my main account that is officially a dj affiliate channel, which means no VODs, so for my other content like chatting art and games I had to make a second twitch channel. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Basically, all this really reflects my ADHD lol

It’s hard because I wanna do so many different types of things, but not everybody will enjoy everything I do so I’m spreading myself around so to speak which in a way it makes it harder to gain followers and stuff.

This is Symphs similar struggle too being pulled in so many directions at once. Honestly I find sticking to a niche and powering away at it seems to work best. You guys have actual talent to share too but I do get it. It is hard to stick to one thing when you have so much to share, its easy to get overwhelmed too if managing multiple channels etc Off topic but was amazing seeing you and Victor in a photo, should have got them Ai checked haha I was in so happy seeing those

Theres a lot of ragebait content on YT and TikTok which is the perfect example. Many people will deliberately mess up to increase engagement. Like they can write obvious spelling mistakes in the captions and play on it or deliberately say controversial things especially in titles to get clicks. Some people have entire incomes off the backs of posting stuff to wind people up lol haters if you cant love em, monetise em

It is massively worth doing, ideally you would have a YouTube and TikTok for your business and posting related blogs alongside videos would help push viewers towards your services becoming an authority in your niche. So many businesses dont tap into the resources available

Imagine how many channels died because people released 10 videos and gave up when they didnt see the results they hoped for and felt like they deserved, the 11th video could have been their viral one but it just didnt happen.

Imagine this was RyansToyReview/Ryans World for example, the biggest childrens channel ever created on YouTube. They were not an overnight success, I remember seeing their beginnings commenting on other kids channels "check out my kids channel" (including on my own - this is why I know this as factual) to get viewers to theirs. They did blow up massively and quite early but they could have easily given up just before going viral.

This may be you, thinking of giving up, sick of low views and poor engagement. You could be one step away from blowing up just like them. That idea you have, that goal you have in your mind. Stick at it. Dont give up!

It is always the way, youll put weeks into something and release it and see little traction and the random upload you made for a laugh purely at random goes viral or does significantly better than all your other content. It has happened to me MANY times lol it even got to a point where I reduced how much editing I put in and it can get your down over the lack of results.

Honestly though just putting yourself out there increases the chances of something good coming from it where the opposite guarantees nothing at all. I definitely agree it is tough especially if doubting yourself but if you find a way to go for it even when you feel like an imposter or like its not for you to be doing these videos etc you can really surprise yourself. I think a lot of it is negative self talk holding so many of us back. I hold myself back too man, doing is harder than saying but I can say that I have put myself out there a lot and also been rewarded in time.

Remember its the snail and hare or tortoise, a marathon and not a sprint. Sometimes people get picked up and blown up instantly but it can be quite rare.

It feels like the end of an era for me, on my larger channel I have just more or less debranded it and it is now considered to be a catalogue of old videos. I feel so awful as I used a Chrome extension to delete maybe 2k community posts and I have removed the old channel name etc. I really wanted to create a new identity thats fully separated and I have mostly achieved that. All associated accounts I have unbranded them to make them appear generic. I feel this is needed so I can start fresh if that makes sense. Its been quite emotional seeing posts I have 9 years ago and removing those, the posts were a huge part of my journey and growth. I of course didnt have to, I didnt need to do any of it but for a full and better separation I think its the best route for me. A hard decision to make but I believe it is worth it. It was a hard decision but I couldnt sit forever on it. I have just killed my old brand and its such a weird feeling but I hope this is the start of something new and better for me and my followers.

Yeah deffo test that out man before making a decision, I wont lie my new channel is proof that starting fresh can do wonders. My old channel had a dead audience, my new one is already outperforming it which is so odd but I do get why when it comes to serving content to the right people versus people who have lost interest etc. Definitely keep the option open though

I see so many mistakes with me own videos man if I was to sit and try to fix each one I would take weeks per video and probably never be fully happy any way. I would rather release in decent time and put stuff out there than make sure everything is perfect and be so critical with the content. Small audio pops, plosives, background sounds, camera movements I aint happy with fully, the way I sound when I say a certain word, the list could go on and on and not worth analysing. What youre doing is already difficult at least to me haha

As part of my small business I release a TikTok promotional video every weekday, today I am going to be really busy working on my new production project so I thought it would be best to schedule some content for today for TikTok for a similar time that I usually release a video at. The videos very similar to the regular ones and tagged similar but I have noticed a BIG difference in views on this scheduled TikTok. The views are fairly normal but I noticed that the likes are extremely low with only 1 like out of 240 views. Usually on similar view count I would be seeing about 8 likes at least. It is very strange to see and I am not sure what would be causing it but I do think it may be related to being scheduled. Anyone else experienced this just seems a bit odd.

So much holds us back with worrying over this and that but you can do it. Grab your camera, your phone, set up a channel and just DO IT. You dont want to skip on an idea because of thinking no one will watch. By not starting something that guarantees no one will watch, give yourself the chance to create something real. Live your dream in your own way. You can do this! I sat on my idea for restarting for FAR too long. I am thankful I went ahead with it.

What is stopping you right now? I dont care if youre on the toilet reading this, tell me what is stopping you from going for it and making that dream come true. You can have your videos seen by the world. You can create this for yourself just like so many others have too.

Please dont hold back, you have a dream and it can be reality

I am so thankful for reaching 600 subscribers in 3 weeks today and 23k views, the power of the algorithm is REAL. This is without any proper promotion, just sticking to my strategy.

Same as what I am going for now, I want requests and will do ones related to the strategy but if its too random then absolutely not. As much as I would love to I need to keep in mind that going so off my strategy could kill the momentum of the channel

On my new channel a lot of the first videos seemed to underperform with a specific title structure so today I decided to retitled them and jig the title up to match the format of the best performers. I see it as the videos were already dead so may as well see if can improve how they perform with a small title change. Anyone else tried this as saw any kind of success, maybe an improved CTR? I guess at least they will match the rest of the titles.

Sephiroth you may be interested in this, I wont use it myself but it is very interesting that people are building channels this way. Do you have any examples you could share of snippets or full songs produced would love to see some done this way. Thank you for sharing!

Im sure you can make a new channel with the same name now. I thought maybe it would cause duplicate content issues.
