He's not talking about anything relevant in the two videos I've watched. He's just going places and living life. I love this kind of content, it's great, but if he doesn't ever touch on anything topical, I'm not surprised people aren't clicking the videos. I wouldn't have clicked it by the title and thumbnail, I only clicked it cause of this thread. Think this guy is gonna need to jump on a few more bandwagons if he wants to grow much further (says the guy who's never had anywhere near that many subs) Edit: I was looking at view count, 20,000, his sub count is actually not THAT far from where I was)

I love that kind of music, reminds me of "God's gonna cut you down", I just posted my first tik tok but have no way to share it and I'm not even sure it posted correctly.

You know what, I just can't with all this, I'm not cut out for this conversation, I kind of get what you're saying, it sounds like maybe you have some shred of creativity or purpose behind what you do, it's just really hard for me not to get angry and when you mentioned botting (not sure which thread in) I started seeing red. I really shouldn't post angry, I'm gonna try to just spectate in this thread for a while.

You know.... at first I was like "but I don't know those songs" however, they're all so old I know the style, and I LOVE 20's 30's and 40's style music, and putting a modern voice over the instrumental tracks could be really weird and interesting... I wonder if putting on the ritz or Whoopee are public domain... I actually know those songs and their from I think the 30's... Might look into this, it's a damn shame 50s and 60s isn't PD, now THAT I could really do.

No covers are allowed, and I can do covers, but thats NOT the same as being able to do karaoke. A cover requires me to learn the song, play the song, recreate the whole performance, mix the instruments, and would take me days to weeks to output. Karaoke would mean I could just find the instrumental track, sing it in my own voice, and upload it. I could literally put a new one out every day, that's why it's killing me there is NOWHERE TO DO IT.

I felt the same way, like my growth had just decided it was what it was and the algorithm wouldn't allow me to go any further. I thought that was all in my head, and I asked Copilot about it, and copilot said that an old channel can always be revived and the algorithm doesn't force you into some kind of purgatory, but copilot also thinks my crappiest lyrics are genius so what does he know am I right?

Is there any where, any way, any how that one could do Karaoke online and get away with it? Monetization doesn't matter, it just sucks cause if I could just film myself doing Karaoke? I'd have an endless goldmine of content, but as far as I can tell there's literally no way to unless you pay for every song which is so not an option for me right now. Is there a list of songs that are ok somewhere? A site that is specifically designed for it? A loophole? A work around???? DO I NEED TO THROW A PIE IN SOMEONE'S FACE???

Why would a channel not be able to just pivot to a different style of content that works? You're acting like something happened, did the algorithm get so used to 1k views that now nothing could ever change that? Why not? Doesn't it seem like all you'd have to do is find a type of content that is better liked, follow some trends, get a few videos to get some extra views and then the algorithm would pick up on it? Or does the algorithm just decide if a channel hasn't grown in years it never will? If THAT'S the case then I need to make a new channel not start uploading to my old one again.

Do you have a link? I mean from what you're describing, it sounds like you follow trends, then use AI to generate scripts and an avatar and a voice to then upload multiple videos to instagram yes? If this is true, sorry my friend, I think it's scummy and pathetic. If there's a little bit more "you" in it than I realize, something that would benefit the audience a bit more? Then maybe I'm being too harsh, but whether or not I think it's scummy, I'm not trying to start any fights, just not gonna back down on my opinions either.

I was using the Vixia 300 (I think I'm getting the name a little wrong) and thought I had a decent camera, then I got a phone upgrade cause I was on a family plan and I got the new Iphone last year. The camera on that Iphone is like.. LEAGUES better than the whole vixia camera, it actually kind of pisses me off LOL I bet camera companies hate those phones... but yeah somehow or another these new phones have professional quality cameras that beat out the cameras from actual camera companies....

Well obviously today I was confronted with my first real arguments for it's use, and I guess I can kind of see a bit of gray in it. But I'm a big picture thinker, and I want a world of community, and a world where we can trust our senses. I also believe that to use AI to generate the actual content you put out, meaning using it to actually write the script, create the very ideas you're gonna be talking about? I see that as theft, it's like you've pulled little ideas from the rest of the collective, told a computer to make them sound good, and then put that out as your content. I don't think there's an argument anyone could make that would change my mind on that.

People are also saying "well what if you are too shy to be on camera" Well be a V-Tuber, pick an avatar that is cartoonish, become a symbol or funny little animal or something, I just think even choosing to TRY and make a REALISTIC looking person? I don't care if it's legal, I don't care if there's a small disclaimer, it's just too.... it muddies the waters of what is and isn't real too much, it just seems anti-community.

But let's say you use your own words, but the AI helps you word them better, you generate the voice cause you're too scared to talk, and you put a disclaimer in the beginning "the person in this video is not real" Then while I still just "get the ick", I suppose I'm not adamantly opposed to that. But if you DON'T put any disclaimer? If you flood the internet with multiple accounts and it's not your ideas, not clear the person isn't real etc? I consider that a crime against humanity and want to see laws put in place to punish such behavior.
