Some people say they're the fastest way to grow, while others say they don't help much with long-form content. Have Shorts helped your channel grow? Did they bring in active subscribers? Are they worth bothering with as a new channel?

You definitely do get active subscribers with shorts. My business channel has grown mostly through shorts alone. I have two or three longer normal videos but they didnt perform so well but my shorts often get over 1.5k views and theyre not really the best of videos. The subscriber base has grown naturally from them albeit slowly but it is working.

I think if you are getting views then it wont matter but maybe some people only subscribe to see the shorts videos and dont want the long ones so maybe not watch these
