I think all you can try to do is keep making videos and over a long time you will feel better about it. It is like anything new to start we feel like we should not be doing it and outside what we are used to doing. With ASMR you maybe feel weird or silly I know that I would but remember when doing it this feeling will pass over time and you will feel less awkward. A lot of people make and enjoy watching the ASMR.

I have a beauty and nail salon and I want to get new people to the website and to my salon I am doing introduction video but I am not sure where I should go next, I can do the nail transformation videos but I make these already to best ability, what else could I do to make it good and what should my focus be?

When I do a manicure and I think it looks really nice in real life, then I take a super close-up photo or video and suddenly I see everything… like cuticles looking rough, small dust particles, dry skin but in real life it doesn’t look like that at all, everything looks smooth and clean.

Is there any camera setting or phone trick to make it look a bit smoother? Like I want the nails to stay sharp and detailed, but cuticles not to look so harsh as zoomed in.

Now every little thing shows on camera and it makes the work look worse than it actually is

Soon I want to have a nail customers just for filming content videos. I’d like to show both my hands and client hands at the same time while working.

What kind of setup do you recommend for this? Like what do you use to hold your phone overhead so it wont block my view while working? Do u recommend any kind of desk moon light that we could attach the phone to, is ring light best? I want it to look good but also be practical.

I like to use Tiktok but it is so addicting I can look at one video and still be watching 2 hours later. I dont find this problem with Youtube as much.

I am thinking if I post to Tiktok that maybe I get new customers who see and like the nails and treatments but maybe viewers live in USA not England is it worth it for me to post to Tiktok to try to get new customers or is Youtube better for it?
