Haven't thought about it much, haven't uploaded or went live in over a year.

I've also been getting a bit of a distaste for the platform as a company, but that's a completely separate can of worms to get into lmao. Started out when things like this was announced:

Fast forward to today, YouTube doesn't listen to it's creators, their creators are getting slapped mainly because of the flawed copyright system they have. Animation channels have gotten hit the hardest by far. (I also want to mention I have nothing against AI and actively use it mainly in programming like environments but phrasing it like that is kind of eh imo and all the AI slop)

Growing up I joked around the idea of making videos seeing creators like DanTDM, PopularMMOs etc flourish only a couple of really bad (not even screen captured) gameplay which was on a channel long gone now.

My real attempt at content creation was 2020 when I was 12, I started with livestreaming games on Twitch and reached twitch affiliate within a few months when I was 13.

A bit after that I started trying out recording youtube videos and uploading stream vods. It was always done as I enjoyed it.

My first ever real upload was 5 years ago in 2020, Playing the game Fall Guys! lol

I do think generally there should be consent and knowledge of being recorded but I think there should be exceptions for investigative journalism style of content (Creators like Reckless Ben relied on using meta glasses)

There's been a rise of those public nonsense creators who just bully and harass people in which I think governments are way to loose at enforcing and preventing it happens way to often now a days.

Most rewarding part is creating a community of like minded people and being able to show off at scale.

While I don't think it's ethical as human interaction and connection goes a lot further imo.

I don't personally have an issue with it but it should be required to label what's been AI modified as sometimes it's hard to tell. Something that comes to mind is NeuroSama (An AI livestream / VTuber) but the content is not entirely AI as the developer Vedal is a very prominent figure of the content.

The fireworks appears on good performing videos the 1 of # (in this case 4) it was the best performing video of the 4 that's been uploaded. (Or so I remember from when I posted videos / livestreams)

I'm still in favor for having a dislike counter as it helped identify good videos / tutorials especially 😅

Wasn't fully a quiet removal there was massive backlash from creators and viewers when the first hid the counter, their reasoning was "harassment". Despite everything they refuse to give it back.

I haven't heard of the term being used to reflect adult oriented content before. I think terms like YouTuber and Tiktoker or is more widely used tho (then twitch and any live content has general term of Streamer).

AI currently as is I still feels lacks the emotion / tone to replicate the human aspect in which the viewers would for sure notice, so I personally wouldn't use it.

AI is a tool not a creative replacement imo.

I think a lot of the 24/7 livestreams are done using the livestream cloud services now, typically $30 / month or so and it just continuously runs the livestream.

There's been a few instances where changing the thumbnail and or title of older videos worked to re push it out to people. I'd assume it's still the case. 😅

For something as small as a typo I wouldn't worry about it affecting, unless as Michael said it was already performing well..

I would likely opt to rebrand the tiktok as well.

YouTube has a habit sort of locking channels from growing even more (same reason why massive Creator Jacksepticeye started posting more on his fresh second channel Spedicey)

Most of the time I just like having notes / talking points but if it's a more serious or lengthy video topic then I could foresee a full script being better.

No watermark with the free version, the paid version just gives extra tools and seems to be leaning into the AI side of editing.

While I don't have first hand experience I do know a case study regarding this topic 😅
One of the largest creators and streamers now a days, CaseOh posted 22 tiktok videos pretending to be live and reportedly got 10k tiktok followers overnight (60k+ in March of 2023 he started posting in Feb 2023) and now posts 3 clips a day I believe so anyway.

He was then able to use the traction from and on his first twitch livestream had 70 - 105 viewers

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve. It does everything I need it to 😅
