Did YouTube Quietly Remove The Dislike Button

I cant find it anywhere on the YouTube creator side in the dashboard like beside videos etc, the only place I see it is on peoples videos when viewing them. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it being used by them any more?

Wasn't fully a quiet removal there was massive backlash from creators and viewers when the first hid the counter, their reasoning was "harassment". Despite everything they refuse to give it back.

Oh wow so 5 years ago and I am only just noticing properly. I can imagine, I have always thought it should be removed fully as people would deliberately dislike peoples videos to mess with them. I remember an old hater would dislike bomb every new upload.

I'm still in favor for having a dislike counter as it helped identify good videos / tutorials especially 😅
