Iv created some funny stories with the help of AI. I want to put them on Spotify and create a weekly podcast as I think other will find them funny too. I'm not keen on reading them out myself but wondered would it be acceptable to use AI to read it out and earn from it? Or is it against rules? Iv heard other podcasts using AI so I'm confused.

Have you chosen an AI narration tool to use? As long as you have the rights to using what you create with the AI voice tool I am fairly sure thats allowed on Spotify as a podcast. I have never tried it myself. I have checked and during upload theres no obvious checkbox for when using AI to generate your content. They have a few articles on using AI in podcasts so I would go for it. Spotify have really made uploading so easy for creators now too, I used to use Distrokid and Landr but now dont bother with them as much.

So it's a site where you can type words and then it will turn it into an AI generated voice for you so you don't have to talk yourself? I dunno I kinda vote we kill it with fire.... 🤡
Naw I mean, I guess if someone can use it who is too nervous to talk themselves or whatever that's ok, I just personally would like to see all these things that take the human element out disappear. And I will say that I do not watch ANY videos with an AI generated voice, the moment I can tell it's AI I click off no matter what the video is.
