Is AI in Content Creation Ethical or Does It Depend on How You Use It?

Well obviously today I was confronted with my first real arguments for it's use, and I guess I can kind of see a bit of gray in it. But I'm a big picture thinker, and I want a world of community, and a world where we can trust our senses. I also believe that to use AI to generate the actual content you put out, meaning using it to actually write the script, create the very ideas you're gonna be talking about? I see that as theft, it's like you've pulled little ideas from the rest of the collective, told a computer to make them sound good, and then put that out as your content. I don't think there's an argument anyone could make that would change my mind on that.

People are also saying "well what if you are too shy to be on camera" Well be a V-Tuber, pick an avatar that is cartoonish, become a symbol or funny little animal or something, I just think even choosing to TRY and make a REALISTIC looking person? I don't care if it's legal, I don't care if there's a small disclaimer, it's just too.... it muddies the waters of what is and isn't real too much, it just seems anti-community.

But let's say you use your own words, but the AI helps you word them better, you generate the voice cause you're too scared to talk, and you put a disclaimer in the beginning "the person in this video is not real" Then while I still just "get the ick", I suppose I'm not adamantly opposed to that. But if you DON'T put any disclaimer? If you flood the internet with multiple accounts and it's not your ideas, not clear the person isn't real etc? I consider that a crime against humanity and want to see laws put in place to punish such behavior.

I am using Ai and real life trend to create my script and optimize accordingly with my own way

After that i generate videos for Brolls and hooks and using my ai avatar my editor post in on my instagram and i have grown around 43k followers on isntagram using this method
Talking about good or bad

Every tool has pros and cons it's the same way internet was introduced to the world

Do you have a link? I mean from what you're describing, it sounds like you follow trends, then use AI to generate scripts and an avatar and a voice to then upload multiple videos to instagram yes? If this is true, sorry my friend, I think it's scummy and pathetic. If there's a little bit more "you" in it than I realize, something that would benefit the audience a bit more? Then maybe I'm being too harsh, but whether or not I think it's scummy, I'm not trying to start any fights, just not gonna back down on my opinions either.

All things depend upon script, you don't need quantity you need quality

Not that bulk video shit which you see on social media

Give a thought i won't publish any stupid thing or bulk dump the videos

All are curated videos on topics and trends around my region

I hate shooting the videos for that i use zoice

For script i take help of chatgpt

For B Rolls i use Google Veo3

And capcut to edit

It takes few hours but get's my reel ready

I shifted to this approach because i am not comfortable to shoot my videos, even that's a time consuming task which i replace with ai

It's not a low effort work which i do

You are thinking i am dumping 1000s of videos on multiple accounts, that's an another strategy but currently i am not doing that thing

I prefer a human in loop

You know what, I just can't with all this, I'm not cut out for this conversation, I kind of get what you're saying, it sounds like maybe you have some shred of creativity or purpose behind what you do, it's just really hard for me not to get angry and when you mentioned botting (not sure which thread in) I started seeing red. While I don't think it's ethical as human interaction and connection goes a lot further imo.

I don't personally have an issue with it but it should be required to label what's been AI modified as sometimes it's hard to tell. Something that comes to mind is NeuroSama (An AI livestream / VTuber) but the content is not entirely AI as the developer Vedal is a very prominent figure of the content.

Well... I feel like I've been too hard on skimmer and I am sorry for my knee jerk reactions. Like it or not it appears that mankind is pretty split on this, and plenty of people don't see it as scummy or scammy. The idea that a few years from now we won't even know who's real and who's not just kills me inside, but yelling at people I hardly know isn't the answer. I'm trying to step back and just listen to others about it at this point, but no promises cause I'm an impulsive little shit sometimes and I can't help it 😁
