Is it worth taking on subscriber requests or sticking to your content strategy plan? In the past I have done a lot of suggested videos and more often than not they have flopped, what are your thoughts on this? I feel like its best to stick to our plans and goals and not deviate as much as it seems to not often perform well.

I've been thinking about this today myself. I metalified an Elton John song and copilot said I should put in the description "What song should I metalify next?" And I just did it, but then I thought about it and I was like "I don't wanna become the guy who turns any request into a metal song. I did it with the Elton John one cause I could hear in my head how it would work, it was a natural idea, if people start saying "make this metal! Make that metal!" I'm not sure I'd have an idea for just any song that wasn't kinda contrived or boring, and I don't wanna get stuck in that lane. But at the same time, maybe that's the kind of challenge I need or something.
I think it makes more sense for me to just say "if you have a cover you'd like me to do tell me and if I get an idea I'll do it" That feels a lot better.

I can get that man. I used to do requests all the time for random things and I feel it made me go off the actual main focus of the channel. The videos always done poorly too. There has been 1 recently that performed well though but it was a really good match for what I do already and wasnt too far out there.

Yeah that's why I think I'll just take a "feel free to give me requests AND IF I LIKE THE IDEA I'll do them" approach.

Same as what I am going for now, I want requests and will do ones related to the strategy but if its too random then absolutely not. As much as I would love to I need to keep in mind that going so off my strategy could kill the momentum of the channel
